Sri Rajkumar Verma (1951-24 March 2014)
Vaidya Sri Rajkumar Verma was born and brought up in the village Tikri of then district Meerut of Uttar Pradesh. His father Sri Rambhajan Verma was a religious man and used to do the traditional work of gold and silver ornament making. Sri Rajkumar Verma Ji did his primary and school education in the village and then was admitted for the Vaidya Vishrad Ayurved Ratna course at Allahabad. He was married to Krishna Verma, a religious lady. Later, he opened a small ayurveda clinic in the village and also a small phamacy to serve the villagers, who were deprived of such facilities in the village. Some times in 2000, Sri Verma moved to Delhi along with his family and lived there until his last breath. He peacefully left the world on 24th March 2014. He left three sons behind him and two daughters. Two of his sons are scientists and both of his daughters are teachers in government school.
Rajkumar Verma Ji was an extra ordinary man of immense knowledge of ayurveda. He was an extremely hard working person whom no one ever seen sitting ideal. He used to read, write and remain busy with his patients for whole day till 11 pm in the night and worked till the last day of his demise.
His son, Dr Sunil Kumar Verma has cited his teachings to him at several occasions as follows:
It is known that several people die due to ‘not working’ enough and becoming unhealthy but no one on earth had died due to working hard!

Sri Rajkumar Verma Ji is no more with his body, but his thoughts and his life time work and selfless services to his patients whom he treated with his knowledge of Ayurveda will remain in this world!
